undeniably your best work. The detail and design of the outfit is flawless and extremely professional. I could easily see this being the outfit of the main character of a game such as Genji Dawn of the Samurai or Onimusha.
Thanks! ^^ I think Kenji was one of my best too, just one of those designs that seemed to work in every way... not that the design process went perfectly smooth though, when sketching the design I never completed it, and just scanned it straight away, this can often be a bad idea, as when you don't have a good enough design to go by you can hit a creative block once you have colored all that was drawn, but, the design just seemed to flow out as I worked on it... and thus Kenji was born. ^^
Wow, thank you for your nice comment! Kenji was one of those character designs that just worked out perfectly, (sometimes happens) the design went well, and it all flows, his hair and face turned out well too, so he looks the part, I feel he’s a real game character now, he’s ready and waiting for the right person to say “he’s what I’m needing for such and such”. make me rich Kenji! hahaha
Well, if you ever do find buisness in being a character designer, I'm just glad I'm one of the few who found them BEFORE they were popular lol. If he's not in a Final Fantasy game, then he would at least be in, oh...lets say Dead or Alive
Thanks I think he could be in many things, fantasy RPG, Large scale Action game, I think Action RPG styles are best suited, even a full on fantasy CGI movie would be cool, as my story would be great on the big screen! maybe a real person fantasy movie would be cool, allthough he might not have the fantasy feel I'm after if he was a real person.
I use refs for faces, hands and feet.
And I will often look at some clothing folds and textures to get a better Idea.
(wish i could make up realistic faces, but it's just too hard) but I make up the costumes etc.
